What this publication records when you visit, what it does not collect, and what must happen before that changes.

This notice covers FounderCLI's public pages, Journal, RSS feed, and public API responses. The site is currently a content-only publication: there is no reader account, newsletter, application form, comment system, or payment, and no public feature invites or durably accepts personal information from readers.

Information received when you visit

Like every website, FounderCLI receives the technical information your browser sends to request a page. Its access and operational logs may contain your IP address, request date and time, method, path and query string, response status, browser or other user-agent, and the address of the page that referred you. Do not put personal or confidential information in a URL.

The public site runs no analytics, advertising, tracking pixel, or cross-site profiling script. It does not set a cookie for public readers. If you choose a light or dark theme, the value payload-theme is stored only in your browser's local storage so the site can remember that choice. Your browser sends a normal authentication cookie only if you are an authorized editor who signs in to the separate Admin panel.

Why this information is used

Request and error logs are used only to deliver the site, keep it reliable, diagnose failures, investigate abuse, and protect the publication and its infrastructure. They are not used to build reader profiles, choose content or advertising, or make automated decisions about readers.

Retention

Server logs are size-limited rather than kept for a fixed number of days. Each production service keeps no more than three log files of 10 MB; when a file fills, the oldest is automatically deleted. The time represented by those files therefore depends on traffic. A theme preference remains on your device until you change it, clear site storage, or reset the selector to the system setting.

Who handles the information

The operator of FounderCLI can access the server logs when needed for the purposes above. DigitalOcean provides the server infrastructure and may process technical data as part of providing and securing that service. FounderCLI does not sell reader information or share it with analytics providers, advertisers, data brokers, or email platforms.

Articles link to sources and other independent websites. Those sites receive information from your browser only when you choose to follow a link, and their own privacy notices then apply.

Your choices and rights

You can remove the theme preference through the theme selector or your browser's site-data controls. Blocking local storage does not prevent you from reading the publication. Rights over server-log data depend on where you live and may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a complaint to a local data-protection authority.

Changes to this notice

If the site's data practices change, this page will be updated before the new processing begins and will show a new version and effective date.
